Your pictures are great! 🙂 I’m not sure I got the toll one, but I like your banner – it’s very colourful.

If you don’t live in a state that has tolls, I’ll explain: I-pass is a system of electronically deducting money from your bank account so you do not have to stop at a booth to pay the toll. It saves time, gas, and worker’s salaries. Cash tolls still exist here in Illinois, which poses a problem. When I-pass became available some 10 years ago, a lot of people started driving through that lane whether or not they had signed up for the toll-paying service. Many of them just skipped the toll altogether and thought they had gotten away with it. Not so, however, for the security cameras were rolling and the evaders still got a bill in the mail for all their missed tolls. Of course, that meant we now have to pay workers to watch the security footage and send out the bills. Sigh, all this fuss and money just to drive on the highway!
